Waistbeads For Wise Women
The Swahili word N’dani means to go within. Ndani waistbeads are crafted for reconnection to your mind, body and spirit, energetically. Sure, you can wear them simply for adornment, but I suggest wearing them with a certain journey in mind. I’ve had the pleasure of crafting the most beautiful beads for mother-daughter bonds, best girlfriends celebrating each other, women’s circles who share a common vision, and women who are determined to go deeper to the root of who they are, what they’ve been through and where they’re going.
Why Waistbeads Work
When you wear them consciously, you are more in tuned with:
The way your body responds to certain foods, such as bloating, gas and inflammation
When you are losing inches or slimming down
When you’re gaining weight, over eating or building muscle
Building a more positive relation and positive self talk with your body when looking in the mirror.
Setting a tone for intimacy and beautifying yourself.
Remembering your “why”. Refocusing on a certain chakra function and your healing journey.
My waistbeads are always created with the highest quality beads, crystals and gemstones that retain their color for the duration of their journey on your body. So no need to worry about paints with harmful leads or dyes being absorbed into your skin. They are built to last and once tied on, they have been worn for up to 2+ years and longer until they are released by cutting by the wearer.
Why do you have to cut them off?! I purposely chose not to use clasps or elastic cording so that when you start your journey, the commitment is strong and will serve as a reminder to you for whatever intention you set. Having a cord that does not stretch is a great way to watch your waistline too, ladies! Anytime you overeat or experience gas and inflammation, they gently hug you a little tighter to bring your awareness to your actions. ie. Put the donuts or chips down, breathe and step away, maybe take a walk too! Take a look at my selection of strands, choose a few and let’s get you tied up and waisted!
Get Waisted Gatherings
Why start your journey to reconnection with your body alone? You can get “waisted” with your girl gang! I now offer “Get Waisted Gatherings” so that you can host a group of women to choose some waistbeads and experience the tying ceremony together at your preferred location. There’s also a discount for the hostess. It’s very easy and this is NOT a DIY party. All the waistbead strands will be hand crafted by me and tied on when we all gather. So no fuss or time consuming mess to clean up. You can choose my place or yours, or even meet in the middle depending on location. The process is simple, Just inquire here to get more details and book your gathering. I provide flyers and templates you can use to make the invitation and organizing easy and convenient.
The Low-down on Steaming Down There
As trendy as v-steaming sounds, it’s an ancient self-care practice that addresses so many unmet needs in women’s health. You might be surprised how much you’re missing out on and once you reap benefits, you’ll be hooked! We offer the best in all natural herbs, ultra comfortable, modern steam technology and expertly curated protocols to address your unique needs.
Hiking as an Act of Healing
“Hiking has nothing to do with gear, and everything to do with just being here. Being present, amidst the trees which are a free resource and source of freedom”. I often say this to the groups of new hikers I lead on various trails so that they feel welcomed and not overwhelmed while hiking. I encourage more Black women to reconnect to nature and themselves in the woods.
